E-commerce stabilization

Stabilizing a heavy-equipment parts store

We improved the OpenCart project after the previous team, connected business systems, implemented technical SEO, and defined the path for a future migration.

Starting point

The business needed to grow despite CMS limitations

The audit of the existing OpenCart store revealed errors, insufficient technical optimization, and constraints that made further feature development difficult.

The first priority was to stabilize the current system and its integrations. Moving to another platform remained a separate planned phase.

  • Up-to-date prices and stock
  • CRM order exchange
  • Parametric search
  • Language versions
  • Technical SEO

Solution

Stabilize today and design tomorrow’s migration

  1. Data exchange

We synchronized the store with the accounting system to keep prices and stock up to date.

    • Stock
    • Prices
    • Exchange monitoring
  2. CRM integration

We configured order transfer and status updates back to the website.

    • Order transfer
    • Statuses
    • Reliable exchange
  3. Catalog and localization

We improved parametric search and the store’s language versions.

    • Parametric search
    • Language versions
    • Catalog fixes
  4. SEO foundation

We implemented technical SEO requirements and feeds for external services.

    • Technical SEO
    • External feeds
    • Preparation for the US market

Implementation

Reducing technical risks step by step

Instead of replacing the platform immediately, the team first restored critical business processes in the existing OpenCart solution. Migration to a new architecture was defined as the next planned phase.

In parallel, SEO specialists defined the required functionality so that CMS limitations would not block core optimization or future growth.

  1. Audit

Reviewing code, catalog, data exchange, and SEO.

  2. Stabilization

    Fixing errors and critical integrations.

  3. Optimization

Search, localization, feeds, and technical SEO.

  4. Planning

Requirements for the future custom platform.

Early results

Consistent positive organic growth

01 / Metric average monthly organic growth
≈15%
During the first three months of promotion.
02 / Metric verified period
3 months
The period covered by the recorded trend.

The potential of 15,000+ monthly users is a forecast, not an achieved result. The migration from OpenCart has not yet been completed either.
