Starting point

The legacy implementation did not account for SEO or future scale

The previous version required extensive technical rework. SEO had not been built into the initial development, so correcting the structure after launch created additional costs.

The team prepared new documentation and rebuilt a substantial part of the system so the marketplace could handle large data volumes and grow its organic channel.

  • New architecture
  • Large-dataset performance
  • Design and frontend
  • Node.js backend
  • SEO-ready structure

Solution

Rebuild the product around data, search, and indexing

The work began with technical documentation and a new architecture rather than isolated patches.

  1. Product foundation

We documented the system, key scenarios, and requirements for marketplace growth.

    • Technical documentation
    • Architecture
    • Component map
  2. Design system

We designed the layouts and built a frontend capable of supporting a large number of content pages.

    • UX/UI design
    • Frontend implementation
    • Responsive scenarios
  3. Node.js backend

We implemented the server side with a focus on performance and handling large data volumes.

    • Backend
    • Data flow
    • Performance foundation
  4. SEO architecture

We built technical indexing requirements into the product structure instead of layering them on top of finished code.

    • Indexable structure
    • Technical SEO
    • Organic growth loop

Implementation

A deep rebuild instead of cosmetic fixes

A substantial part of the code was rebuilt from scratch. Node.js became the server-side foundation for a system handling a large volume of listings and requests.

The client name, domain, real property addresses, and original interface materials are not used in this case study. The visuals represent only the product’s general logic.

  1. Document

    Documenting requirements and legacy-system issues.

  2. Re-architect

A new frontend, backend, and data structure.

  3. Build

Design, frontend implementation, and server-side development.

  4. Grow

A technical foundation for organic acquisition.
